Dates Squares

Ingredients:

1 Butter

Cup sugar

2 bags of vanilla sugar

1 baking powder

2 eggs

3 cups flour

1 box of dates spread

Cup chopped walnuts or coconut half denominations

Spread egg

Cinnamon (teaspoon)

Sugar (spoon)

Directions:

Mix well the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and baking powder.

Add the flour and form a lump of dough is soft and smooth.

Divide the dough into two balls.

Roll out on a floured surface, one ball the size of a square or rectangular pattern (if slightly sticky dough can be a little flour).

Spread paste dates and sprinkle the nuts or coconut.

Roll out the second ball up and put on a spread of dates.

Spread the raised bog and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Bake in 180 degree heat medium fifteen to twenty minutes.
