Dates Cake

Ingredients:

200g butter, cut

1 cup water

1 cup oil

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

5 cups flour

Fill:

1 box of nominally dates

Half cup chopped nuts

Cinnamon and cloves {Kurt}

Directions:

Mixer bowl with paddle blend all ingredients, soft and supple.

Put the dough to cool for half an hour.

Divide the dough into four balls.

Roll each ball sized leaf pattern.

Spread a paste of dates and nuts on each leaf.

Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle powdered sugar over the cake and cut squares or triangles.
